Use of latest technology

Cerec CadCam Technology. We are able to make and cement a crown for you on the same day

Digital Radiography (x-rays). You are able to see what we see on a computer screen and the images appear almost immediately

Intra Oral Digital Photographs. A diagnostic tool that hopefully will instill trust in us as you can see what we see in your mouth. If you are interested, you can also follow what we are doing to your tooth.

Most recent materials which have a proven clinical record. We regularly attend CPD courses and take advice on what is clinically sound technological advances in dental materials and techniques.

Highest Standards of Cross Infection Control
At West Coast Dental Care our team members completely understand the importance of strict cross infection control procedures for the absolute safety of all our patients. As is becoming standard practice worldwide, we have a central sterilization area, which prevents cross infection within the surgery. we also use a barrier prevention procedure. All plastic handles and levers are covered in plastic which is discarded after every patient. Each patient has their own set of sterilized instruments which has been autoclaved in an medical grade sterilizing unit. A standardized international method of surgery disinfection is carried out after each patient has left the room.

In chair entertainment
We have monitors on the dental chair for you to watch. Patients have the option of bringing their own DVD's to watch. This is a particularly useful instrument for kids.

We also use these monitors to show our patients what images we are seeing from our camera or x-rays.
